The group called New Nigeria Movement (NNM) has urged Kwara
State ex-governor Senator Bukola Saraki to participate in the 2015
presidential elections.
The statement released in Lagos points out Saraki's
achievements and stresses the fact that the former governor, who now acts as
the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, "is a bridge between the
North and the South", Vanguard reports.
The group continues:
"He is a bridge between the private and public sector and he controls a large political network that cuts across the country with a generational foundation."...continue...

Apart from that, they expressed their satisfaction over the senator representing "the young generation of Nigerian leaders" and commended his performance both as member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and then the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Thus having put all these facts together the NNM encouraged Saraki to join the race for the presidential seat in the upcoming elections.
It would be recalled that the Kwara ex-governor defected from the ruling party to the APC in the beginning of the year and later explained his move by dissatisfaction with PDP's handling of some major issues.
