had something to prove on Friday night. Six years ago, and just months after the death of his mom Donda, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper headed to Manchester, Tennessee, and played what would turn out to be a disastrous set.
The 2008 show was marred by ‘Ye’s lateness (Pearl Jam’s fault if you ask him), chants of “F–k, Kanye!” and a smashed computer, among other things. But last night, on Friday the 13th no less, West was looking for some positive omens … and maybe to make amends.
While MTV’s team on the fest grounds in Tennessee reported that the reception was pretty much divided between die-hardfans who happily rode with yeezy and haters who fled for other stages as soon as other sets kicked off, we found one fan who had nothing but glowing reviews: G.O.O.D. wife Kim Kardashian.
Dressed in an ultra-sheer white top and snug white jeans, the reality star hit her IG to share that her man “rocked” Bonnaroo ’14, adding an emphatic hashtag.
